Prima Rosa

Prima Rosa is an elegant accommodation establishment located in the small historical town of Hartbeesfontein, along the treasure route. The establishment, established in 1903, offers a charming and lived-in atmosphere with old books setting the tone as guests stroll through the passageway, and a handsome dining room that speaks of many merry occasions.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a handsome Bougainvillea that invites them through its foliage and into a secret world of potted plants, high-arched doorways, and stained-glass windows. The accommodation features four beautifully furnished bedrooms, each presenting its own Old World charms and unique artwork, ensuring guests a comfortable night's rest.

Prima Rosa offers various amenities and activities for guests. All meals are available at an additional rate, and there is an option for a team-building activity in the form of a cooking demo run from the establishment. Historical Boer War Tours can also be arranged prior to arrival. The establishment features a small intimate venue suitable for up to 80 guests in an artist's gallery, as well as a leafy outdoor setting with antique lounges under trees, where guests can enjoy violin and dance performances or African choirs and drum performances.

For those seeking outdoor adventures, safaris are available in the beautiful surrounding landscape. Outdoor boudoir photography sessions can be arranged with the resident artist. Guests can indulge in romantic dining experiences, ranging from intimate candlelit dinners with white linen, silver, and crystal in a classical boudoir room with an open antique bath, to picnics with a setting sun in an Out of Africa-style setting.

The accommodation consists of four double rooms. Upstairs, there is one double room with an en-suite bathroom and an inter-leading room with two double beds, ideal for adults and children. Downstairs, there is one double room with an en-suite bathroom and two double rooms that share a bathroom.
