Protea Guest House

The Protea Guest House features three self-catering wooden cottages located in a large tropical garden with picturesque views of the Knysna Lagoon and the Knysna Heads. One cottage, named Loerie, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge area, and a spacious sundeck equipped with barbecue facilities. The other two cottages, Glasogie and Suikerbekkie, accommodate two guests each and also offer private sundecks and barbecue facilities.

Off-street parking is available, and the guest house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac away from the main road, providing a safe and tranquil neighborhood. The garden attracts abundant birdlife, including visits from the Knysna Loerie and Vervet monkeys. Glasogie and Suikerbekkie are equipped with Openview TV, while Loerie features selected DStv channels (business package). All cottages offer free unlimited 100 Mbps fiber WiFi.

Parking in the garage is available, subject to availability, for a small additional fee per night. The establishment only accommodates children in the Loerie - Two Bedroom Lodge, as it is a family unit. This cottage, set in a large sub-tropical garden, offers a king-size or twin beds, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom. The cottage has its own private deck with a beautiful view overlooking the Knysna lagoon.
