Protea Ridge Guest Cottages & Conference Centre is situated among rows of indigenous protea trees in the tranquil suburb of North Riding. It is a paradise for birdwatchers, where visitors can relax and immerse themselves in the sounds and ambiance of the surroundings.

The establishment features eight luxurious thatched suites and six spacious self-contained thatched cottages. All cottages are serviced daily and equipped with satellite TVs, radios with CD players, lounges, bedrooms with spacious built-in cupboards, and well-proportioned bathrooms comprising large baths and separate showers. Each self-catering unit also has private braai facilities available outside.

Protea Ridge Guest Cottages & Conference Centre offers a tranquil venue for weddings and corporate functions, with a unique setting for every occasion, regardless of size, and a commitment to accommodating guests' needs. After a busy day, guests can unwind around the pool and enjoy a sundowner at the pool pub. During winter, they can sip on gluhwein and enjoy the intimate ambiance of the well-stocked indoor pub. The establishment is able to host small, intimate weddings for up to 60 guests.

The self-contained cottages feature a fully equipped kitchen, two single beds, a lounge area, a selection of DSTV channels, wireless internet access (at no extra charge), and a bathroom with both a separate shower and bath.
