Pumba Private Game Reserve

The 5-star Pumba Private Game Reserve lodge has views from a private wooden deck overlooking Lake Kariega or the African bush. It is located 20 km from Grahamstown and some chalets include a private plunge pool. The Pumba Game Reserve features a swimming pool and a well-equipped gym facility. Guests can also relax at the exclusive spa and wellness centre with a sauna.

The reserve has many different species of animals roaming its plains, ranging from big predators such as Lions, Cheetahs, Buffalo, Leopards, and Rhinos. The resort has recently launched Kids on Safari, which gives kids a one-hour game drive after breakfast, with a species book, and teaches them how to identify plants and insects around Msenge, and build a fire in the boma (followed by roasting marshmallows)!
