Pumula Surf Camp

Pumula Surf Camp is a basic, rustic surf camp situated just 300 meters away from the stunning Pumula Beach, which is great for surfing, fishing, diving, snorkeling, and family outings. The house has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. The family room sleeps three, the dorm room sleeps four, the Sun room is a double room that sleeps two, and the twin room sleeps two. There is also a very rustic bush hut in the garden. The house is shared with other guests unless it is booked out as a private unit.

The camp offers guests free Wi-Fi Internet access, a large deck for relaxing, a garden with braai facilities, laundry conveniences, on-site safe parking, airport pick-ups, tours to various places on request, surf trips, surf lessons, yoga lessons, and surfboard hire. It is run by locals with over 20 years of surf knowledge. The surf camp is a family-run establishment, and the owners live on the property in a separate house. The surf house is surrounded by indigenous bush, and the property is shared with a pack of friendly dogs, cats, vervet monkeys, bush buck, porcupines, and free-roaming children.

Guests can take a walk in the mangrove forest and fall in love with its stunning beauty. The camp is located just one hour south of Durban city, in a tropical paradise. All meals can be provided at an extra cost, or guests are welcome to self-cater in the fully equipped kitchen. The surf camp also offers discounts for longer stays. The owners and staff are friendly, outgoing, and chilled people who are willing to organize and sort out anything guests may need.

The Coral Twin room sleeps two in two single beds, with an option to make it a three-sleeper room if needed. This room is cool and decorated in a surf African style.
