The Pumulani Lodge is situated on a farm that was purchased around 50 years ago by the Louw family, who named it 'Pumulani', meaning 'be at rest' in Ndebele. The farmhouse, dating back to 1945, still stands on the premises. Over time, the farm was subdivided, with the current area retaining the name Pumulani.

Pumulani Lodge provides a 'place of rest' for numerous visitors who enter its gates. The accommodation options include four Executive Suites, five Deluxe Suites, and ten Standard bedrooms.

When it comes to hosting conferences at Pumulani Lodge, guests are presented with a variety of choices. The lodge aims to tailor-make each event to suit the style and budget requirements of the client. Seven conference rooms are available, accommodating groups ranging from 5 to 200 delegates, and equipped with a multi-media projector and standard conference equipment. Conference packages are offered, ranging from half-day to full-day options, with lunches served in the beautiful old farmhouse, small lapa, or garden.

For weddings, Pumulani Lodge offers five different areas to cater to individual couple's needs and requirements. Church services can be held in the charming farm chapel, which can accommodate up to 180 guests, and personalized function packages are available for discussion with the marketing manager.

The Standard bedrooms at Pumulani Lodge feature a double bed that can be converted into two single beds, an en-suite bathroom with either a bath or shower, a mini-bar fridge, coffee/tea-making facilities, M-Net, a work station, wireless internet, and a safe.
