Red Stone Hills Holiday Farm is situated on Route 62, between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp. The farm operates commercial activities including farming ostriches, cattle, sheep, lucern, and vines. Children are welcome to join tractor rides in the mornings while feeding the animals. Field courses are offered on specific dates, comprising fossils, geology, and botanical walks.

The property features eight renovated cottages located in a valley of vineyards and surrounded by colorful red stone hills displaying their own natural windows. The units offer bathrooms, DStv, air-conditioners, open hearths for indoor barbecues, and fully equipped kitchens. Guests are assured of total privacy and tranquil surroundings, enjoying spectacular views of the Red Stone Hills, vineyards, and river.

A scenic, circular route links the farm with the Swartberg Pass, Cango Caves, and the Cango Wildlife Ranch. The farm offers various activities such as horse riding on a pony, birdwatching, swimming in the pool or river, rock art exploration, hiking, and walking trails to view small mammals, antelope, fynbos, and succulents. It is a paradise for children and artists.

The farm offers special rates during low season on a minimum of a three-night stay. Delicious breakfasts, ranging from Continentals to full Farm Breakfasts, can be served on request. Three-course dinners and semi self-catering barbecue packs, which are delivered to the cottages with a table set and fire made, are also available. Guests can enjoy gazing at the stars and hearing the calls of the night life during summer, and a warm, cozy fire in an open hearth during winter.

The property offers hiking trails and walking trails, where a variety of wildlife can be observed, such as leopards, aardvarks, mongooses, porcupines, bush pigs, kudus, klipspringers, duikers, and grysbokkies. A large variety of succulents and fynbos can also be found. All cottages are private, situated at least 120 meters apart, offering spectacular views of the red stone hills and the vineyards. They feature fireplaces and/or open hearths for indoor barbecues. Some cottages, such as Red Rock and Aloe, have spa baths, and candles are provided in all cottages.

Free tractor rides are offered in the mornings when feeding the farm animals. Children can enjoy swimming in the river and climbing the red stone hills. All cottages have spectacular views of the red stone hills, the vineyards, and the river. The farm operations include farming ostriches, cattle, sheep, and vineyards. The cottages feature queen-size beds, bathrooms with corner baths and walk-in showers, limited satellite TV, kitchens, and fireplaces for indoor barbecues. Air conditioning and panel heaters are also provided. The quote is for self-catering, but meals are available. Free WiFi is offered, and the views are spectacular.
