Remote Locations Witsand

Remote Locations Witsand is the latest addition to their pop-up camp locations. It is situated near the sleepy seaside village of Witsand, close to the Breede river mouth, on a private farm with three kilometers of beachfront for guests' enjoyment. The camp offers lodge-style canvas tents, each designed to accommodate two people. The tents are furnished with beds, bedding, solar lighting, a coffee/tea station, and comfortable camping chairs to enjoy the amazing view. Blankets and hot water bottles are provided for chilly evenings. Each tent has its own private ablution facility with a chemical toilet and a bucket shower. Guests can request a hot shower at any time of day and enjoy an outdoor shower with a view of the ocean.

The daily rate includes a three-course dinner and a full breakfast, making it an ideal start or ending point for a Garden Route trip. The camp can accommodate up to 20 guests for an intimate small wedding, with additional accommodation available upon prior arrangement. There are two honeymoon suites at this camp, situated far away from the other tents for complete privacy. Guests have access to a private three-kilometer stretch of beachfront exclusively for their use. The Oystercatcher, Albatross, and Flamingo tents are the closest to the main Bedouin stretch tent and are close enough to see neighboring tents but still far enough apart for privacy. This option is suitable for families or small groups of friends.
