Located just 90 minutes from Cape Town and 500 meters off a tarred road, this working deciduous fruit farm specializes in pear production, alongside apples and peaches, with harvesting occurring between December and April.
The property features ten luxury self-catering cottages and a contemporary farmhouse, split between the main Rhodene area and Voëlvlei section. Each accommodation option is comprehensively equipped with modern amenities, including built-in furnishings, television with selected DSTV channels, full kitchen facilities, and climate control systems. All units feature either underfloor heating, fireplaces, or both for winter comfort, while fans provide summer cooling. The farmhouse additionally offers air conditioning and oil heaters.
The accommodations range from intimate two-person cottages to the spacious Voëlvlei House, which can host up to ten guests. Guinea Fowl and Heron House cottages each accommodate two people, while Peacock's Perch sleeps four adults plus two children.
