Rhodene Farm Cottages

Rhodene Farm Cottages is a luxury self-catering establishment situated at the foot of the Skurweberg Mountains, offering spectacular views across the Ceres valley. Located just 90 minutes from Cape Town and 500 meters off a tarred road, this working deciduous fruit farm specializes in pear production, alongside apples and peaches, with harvesting occurring between December and April.

The property features ten luxury self-catering cottages and a contemporary farmhouse, split between the main Rhodene area and Voëlvlei section. Each accommodation option is comprehensively equipped with modern amenities, including built-in furnishings, television with selected DSTV channels, full kitchen facilities, and climate control systems. All units feature either underfloor heating, fireplaces, or both for winter comfort, while fans provide summer cooling. The farmhouse additionally offers air conditioning and oil heaters.

The accommodations range from intimate two-person cottages to the spacious Voëlvlei House, which can host up to ten guests. Guinea Fowl and Heron House cottages each accommodate two people, while Peacock's Perch sleeps four adults plus two children. Voëlvlei Cottages 2 and 4 each house four guests, Cottage 5 accommodates seven, and Units 6-9 are semi-detached, each sleeping two persons.

Guests can enjoy numerous on-site activities including walking trails, cycling routes, bass fishing at the dam, bird watching, and stargazing. A shared swimming pool and children's play area are available for guest use. Each unit includes outdoor entertainment areas with barbecue facilities, and the property provides weekly cleaning services and limited Wi-Fi access.
