Rickety Bridge

Rickety Bridge is a historic Cape Dutch manor house located on the outskirts of Franschhoek, located against the hillside and overlooking the vineyards and magnificent mountains. The estate has served as a welcoming rest stop for nearly two centuries, offering visitors views of unsurpassed splendour, lush surroundings, and fresh air in the Franschhoek Valley.

The estate features wine tasting facilities and luxury accommodation, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a unique and beautiful experience in South Africa's Gourmet Capital. Renovated in 1995, Rickety Bridge underwent modernization while carefully preserving priceless antique Cape furniture pieces. Recent refurbishments have introduced luxury comforts and unique modern-day artwork by local artists, blending contemporary and classic styles to create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.

Rickety Bridge offers luxurious and tastefully decorated rooms equipped with amenities expected of a 4-star establishment, such as DStv, minibars, air-conditioning, underfloor heating, and heated towel rails. Guests have access to a private pool area and, during winter months, two lounge areas where they can enjoy a glass of sherry in front of the fireplace.
