Rietspruit Country Cottage is nestled in the tranquil Bossiesveld region, 10 kilometers outside Villiersdorp and approximately 90 minutes from Cape Town. The property is ideally situated between Villiersdorp's fruit orchards and the Worcester wine route, offering a perfect weekend retreat for families and couples alike.

The accommodation consists of two distinct types of units. The family units, Hoopoe's Haven and Swallow's Rest, are historic thatched cottages featuring lounges, fully equipped kitchenettes, and main bedrooms with king-size beds (convertible to twins). Each has a full en-suite bathroom and an attic bedroom with twin beds suitable for children over five years old. Swallow's Rest includes an original fireplace. Due to the single bathroom configuration, these units are most suitable for families rather than groups of adults.

The double rooms, Weaver's Nest and Robin's Nest, are designed as open-plan units ideal for couples. Each features a shower en-suite, fully equipped kitchenette, and private patio with scenic views. These units also offer king-size beds that can be converted to twins upon request.

All accommodations come equipped with DSTV and private braai (barbecue) facilities. The property offers guests the opportunity to experience authentic country living with amenities including bird watching opportunities and a small dam for relaxation. The grounds are home to various farm animals including chickens and goats, adding to its rural charm.
