Rio Vista Lodge

The Rio Vista Lodge is a four-star establishment situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, offering panoramic views of the Kruger National Park. It provides a tranquil setting ideal for bird watching and game viewing, with an infinity pool overlooking the park, lush gardens, and a viewing deck. Private or group game drives into the Kruger National Park can be arranged during guests' stays.

The lodge offers a complimentary breakfast served daily between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM at The Deck Restaurant. All air-conditioned rooms and suites are elegantly decorated with modern furniture and colorful decor, featuring en-suite bathrooms and patios. The Luxury rooms have full bathrooms, and the Honeymoon suite includes a spa bath. The four-sleeper garden view family units are suitable for two adults and two young children, as they have a single bathroom situated in the main bedroom.

The lodge comprises 27 rooms: eight standard river view rooms, two luxury river view rooms, one luxury garden-facing room, eleven standard garden view rooms, four garden view family units, and one Honeymoon suite with river views. Self-catering accommodation is not offered, and guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the premises. However, The Deck Restaurant provides an array of cocktails and a wide range of carefully selected wines and spirits.

Free Wi-Fi is available, but due to the location, speed and connectivity may not always be at optimum capacity. The lodge is conveniently located 9.6 km from the Malelane Gate entrance to the Kruger National Park, making it an ideal base for visitors to the park.

The Deck Restaurant is an open-air establishment with views directly onto the Crocodile River, serving a delectable variety of dishes from an u00e0 la carte menu prepared by a team of dedicated chefs.

The Garden View Family Suites can comfortably accommodate up to two adults and two children (four people total). These identical suites feature air-conditioning, bathroom amenities, DSTV, TV, and Wi-Fi.
