Rissington Inn

The Rissington Inn is an award-winning, affordable, family-friendly country lodge located in the heart of South Africa's Lowveld region in the north-east of the country. It offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere, making it an ideal stopover for travelers en route to the game reserves and a convenient base for exploring the attractions of Mpumalanga.

The inn features twenty individual rooms and suites surrounded by twenty acres of colorful gardens, providing comfortable, spacious, and airy accommodation. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, bar fridges, en-suite bathrooms, verandahs, and private entrances. Additionally, all rooms have televisions. The rooms and the charming, thatched farmhouse are shaded by magnificent trees and offer breathtaking views down the valley. The popular garden suites and hillside suites come with hammocks/daybeds and outside showers.

The inn offers outstanding breakfasts, lunches, light meals, and table d'hu00f4te dining seven days a week, catering to a variety of preferences, including child, vegan, and African options. It also features a welcoming licensed bar and complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the premises.

The inn is located one kilometer through indigenous bush on a good gravel road off the R40, south of Hazyview. It is just ten minutes away from the Kruger National Park and in close proximity to the attractions of the Escarpment and Panorama Route. Golf, horse-riding, elephant interactions, and numerous adrenalin activities are available nearby.

Rissington Inn offers a perfect balance of friendly and unobtrusive personal service, providing everything guests need and a little more than expected. Fun and games for children include badminton, boules, croquet, jukskei, bush walks, and treasure hunts, with a children's menu also available. Baby-sitting services are offered if required.

Each room features one queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The rooms are located downstairs and have a small patio overlooking the gardens. They are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, bar fridges, Nespresso machines, en-suite bathrooms, and verandahs.
