Rivendell Trout Estate is a collection of cottages situated on the banks of the Spekboom River, which is regularly stocked with rainbow trout. Each cottage comprises four en-suite bedrooms, a spacious open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen, as well as a large fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The cottages feature expansive decks with remarkable views and barbeque facilities.

Rivendell Trout Estate offers family cottages in the Finsbury Valley, providing an opportunity to create unforgettable memories while engaging in activities such as fly fishing for trout, nature walks, and game drives. The estate is conveniently located en-route to the Kruger National Park and serves as a central hub for day trips to nearby destinations such as Dullstroom, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Sudwala Caves, and Pilgrim's Rest.

One of the cottages, Bag End Cottage, is built directly on the banks of the Spekboom River, making it an ideal choice for avid fly fishermen and families alike. The cottage features rooms with single beds that can be combined into king-size beds upon request.
