River Cottage

The River Cottage is a self-catering accommodation situated in the remote Witzenberg Valley. It is furnished and appointed to offer guests the opportunity to engage with the outdoors through activities such as hiking, fishing, kloofing, and mountain biking, or simply relaxing.

The cottage is located on a cliff overlooking the Olifants River and can accommodate up to six adults and three children. It comprises two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a loft area, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite shower with a toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and has an outside shower and washbasin. The loft area, accessed by a ladder, contains three single beds and is best suited for children.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, and cooking utensils. There is a six-seater dining table and chairs. The living area features a sleeper couch and a fireplace, opening to a wraparound deck with spectacular views of the river and mountains. An outside braai area is also available.

The River Cottage is a self-catering unit rented out as a single accommodation, sleeping up to nine people, with a maximum of six adults and three children comfortably accommodated in the two bedrooms, sleeper couch, and loft.
