River Crossing Lodge

River Crossing Lodge is a unique accommodation establishment situated on a 6,500-hectare game reserve just five minutes from central Windhoek, Namibia. The lodge perfectly combines the serenity of nature with modern comfort, offering guests an exceptional blend of bush and city experiences.

Located on the airport road (B6), the lodge is positioned atop a koppie, providing spectacular sunset views and vistas of both the Moltkeblick Mountain and Windhoek's city lights. The main building features a dining room, central bar, lounge with fireplace, and curio corner. An outdoor lap pool and elevated wooden deck complement the facilities.

The accommodation comprises well-appointed rooms equipped with satellite TV, mini-fridge with complimentary mineral water, coffee station, air conditioning, and private balconies with views. Room options include twin, double, and triple configurations. All chalets feature en-suite bathrooms, with two specially designed honeymoon suites offering baths instead of showers. All beds are furnished with feather duvets and 100% cotton linens.

The reserve is home to 19 different species of game, including Oryx, Kudu, giraffe, and wildebeest, with occasional sightings of leopard and cheetah. Guests can explore the reserve through various activities including guided walks (up to 2 hours), game drives (2-3 hours, including refreshments), and horse riding suitable for both novice and experienced riders, conducted by an independent team.
