River Hill Lodge is a small private lodge situated in a natural bushveld environment along the Komati River. The conference center, bar lounge, and swimming pool offer spectacular views of the Komati River, golf course, and Kruger National Park. The lodge provides guests with a unique and special brand of hospitality.

The five Lodge Chalets feature air-conditioning, upmarket furnishings, queen-size beds, twin beds, full bathrooms with Victorian-style slipper baths, and under-cover wooden decks. These chalets are not self-catering but provide tea and coffee facilities and bar fridges.

The two Self-catering Chalets are similar to the Lodge Chalets. These units are fully equipped and have three air-conditioned bedrooms. The main bedrooms are equipped with queen-size beds, single beds, and full en-suite bathrooms. The remaining two bedrooms have single beds and share a second bathroom. There are two extra beds in the lounge, which also offers DStv. Each unit has its own braai area.

The glass conference center is located in the bush and offers air-conditioning. It is fully equipped for up to 20 delegates. Meals are served in either the open or stone dining rooms. Larger groups can choose to have a braai in the boma, where the night sky serves as the ceiling.

The lodge offers professionally guided tiger fishing trips and tours to the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, Maputo, and the escarpment, with advance booking required. It can also arrange activities such as elephant rides, microlight flights, quad biking, and horse riding.

Komatipoort is a railway junction and border town, so train and vehicle noise is unavoidable. Guided tiger fishing on the Komati River and Kruger Park open vehicle safaris are arranged, requiring pre-booking. The Kambaku Golf Course is located across the Komati River from the Lodge, approximately 2 kilometers from the Club House, which overlooks the Kruger Park and features a nice a la carte restaurant.
