River House Guest Lodge

River House Guest Lodge is situated on the Crocodile River and commands a stunning view of the Kruger Park from the balconies of its 12 en suite bedrooms. It offers guests regular sightings of game from the viewing deck and swimming pool, as well as old-fashioned hospitality. The lodge provides facilities such as a chapel for intimate weddings, a small conference room, and a self-catering unit.

River House Guest Lodge is ideally situated for excursions to the Kruger Park, Panorama route, Swaziland, and Mozambique. Year-round game drives can be arranged by the lodge. The establishment has been highly recommended by the AA Accommodation Awards from 2000 to 2010 in the category of Small Country Retreats.

The lodge offers activities such as open vehicle safari drives into the Kruger National Park (either full day or morning only), elephant rides, elephant interaction or walks, visits to a Swazi cultural village for tours, meals, and traditional dancing, as well as day excursions into both Mozambique and Swaziland.

River House Guest Lodge has a policy of not allowing children under the age of thirteen. It is an old-fashioned guest house with no televisions, radios, or newspapers.

The Double Room at River House Guest Lodge is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and bath combination, a hand basin, and a toilet. The room has a private balcony and is equipped with a hairdryer, coffee machine, air conditioning, and a fan.
