Riverstill Guest Farm

Riverstill Guest Farm is situated in a deep valley in the Groot Marico region of South Africa's North West Province, approximately 2.5 hours from Johannesburg. The property is renowned for its location along the pristine Groot Marico River, which is noted as the cleanest river in the Limpopo basin, with water pure enough to drink.

The establishment features five rustic self-catering cottages, each offering privacy and individual character. The accommodations are equipped with modern amenities, fireplaces for winter comfort, and outdoor braai (barbecue) facilities. The largest cottage can accommodate eight guests, while the others are suited for four people each.

The farm is a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts, offering various activities centered around the river, including swimming, canoeing, and fishing. A unique feature of Riverstill is its dog-friendly policy, with the farm maintaining its own pack of around ten dogs that contribute to both the atmosphere and security of the property. The establishment also houses 'The Well,' a venue that hosts the annual Herman Charles Bosman Festival along with various cultural events, wellness programs, and small conferences.
