Riviersonderend 4X4 is located on a farm near Riviersonderend, and it is an ideal destination for guests who enjoy outdoor activities. The accommodation consists of three cottages: the Toad Hole, the Oak Lodge, and the Forrest Lodge. These cottages are situated amidst fynbos vegetation, providing a natural setting with abundant birdlife and small buck.

Each cottage is equipped with a kitchen suitable for self-catering and a private bathroom with a shower. The Toad Hole offers four single beds and a swimming pool for guests to cool down. The Oak Lodge comprises four rooms, each with two single beds, and guests can enjoy swimming in a nearby dam. The Forrest Lodge has two rooms, one with a double bed and the other with three single beds, as well as an additional single bed in the living room.

Guests are welcome to go swimming in the natural pools on the property. It is important to note that there is no electricity available, and water is scarce, so guests are kindly requested to use it sparingly. Each cottage has a designated braai area for outdoor cooking and dining. Pets and veld fires are not permitted on the premises.

Riviersonderend 4X4 offers guests a variety of hiking trails, as well as 4x4 and 4x2 routes, allowing them to explore the surrounding natural environment. The Forrest Lodge, in particular, consists of two rooms. The main room offers a double bed, while the other room has three single beds. An additional single bed is located in the living room, and there is a shared bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and guests are reminded to use water sparingly due to its scarcity. The unit does not have electricity, but it does have a braai area, and guests can enjoy swimming in the natural pools on the property.
