Rixile Kruger Lodge

Rixile Kruger Lodge is a self-catering accommodation located within the original boundary of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve and a five-minute drive from the main entrance of the Kruger National Park. The lodge is built around and under spectacular knob-thorn trees, immersing it in the surrounding environment. The property is fenced off from the neighboring Big 5 reserves, but the sounds of lions and hyenas can often be heard at night.

The open-plan living room and kitchen feature triple-volume ceilings with wrap-around ceiling windows and fully retractable sliding doors, allowing guests to feel completely immersed in the bushveld. The lodge offers a relaxing lounge area, a stunning fireplace, and large basket lights to create the perfect ambiance. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, double fridge, ice maker, and Nespresso machine, ensuring a home-away-from-home experience.

The lodge features three bedrooms, each with its unique features. Bedroom 1 is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a full en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, indoor and outdoor showers, and a sun deck overlooking the bush. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are identical, offering queen-sized beds, en-suite indoor and outdoor showers, and dressing tables.

Rixile Kruger Lodge also offers an outdoor, undercover covered dining and lounge area, where guests can observe resident impala, nyala, kudu, and bushbuck passing by. A deck with a pool and sun loungers provides the perfect relaxation areas during the hot hours of the day. Additionally, there is a large boma with a fire pit and braai area, allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular milky way above.

Rixile Kruger Cottage is a separate 1-bedroom self-catering cottage that can accommodate up to 2 people. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, and the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with an open-plan lounge area, complete with a TV and Netflix.
