Rockdell Lodge

Rockdell Lodge is a luxury farm-style accommodation situated 35km from Stutterheim and 100km from East London in South Africa's Eastern Cape. The lodge, accessible only by high-clearance vehicle (4x4 recommended during rain), is nestled within a captivating game reserve that's home to over 20 species of wildlife, including Buffalo, Giraffe, Roan, Impala, and Gemsbuck.

The intimate and cozy establishment features five beautifully appointed rooms - three family rooms and two double rooms - accommodating up to 16 people sharing. Each spacious room opens onto a large veranda where guests can observe wildlife grazing nearby. The property includes a shared outdoor braai area and secure camp space, making it ideal for groups and families.

Guests can choose between self-catered and fully catered accommodation options. The fully catered package includes dinner and breakfast, with a traditional starter of biltong, cheese, and biscuits, along with a complimentary game drive. The lodge offers various activities including wildlife photography, birding, stargazing, and bass fishing. A swimming pool is available for guest relaxation.
