The architect and interior designer of RockFig Safari Lodge were inspired by the Timbavati setting of this luxury South African safari lodge to create a relaxed ambience. The indoor and outdoor guest spaces seamlessly blend together, enabling both communal and private moments that are infused with an authentic bush feel.

Situated in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to the renowned Kruger National Park, RockFig Safari Lodge is strategically positioned for explorations into the African wilderness. Guests can embark on game drives, which allow them to cover a substantial area while enjoying the comfort of a vehicle, or opt for walking safaris, where they can explore the area on foot. Both thrilling activities offer opportunities for wildlife sightings that are sure to exhilarate visitors.

Family groups with small children are provided with a private vehicle, eliminating age restrictions. Additionally, later start times and earlier finishes can be arranged to accommodate younger wildlife enthusiasts and ensure that the safari day is not too long for them. The accommodations feature a king-sized bed, and a bunk bed can be added to accommodate a maximum of two children.
