Rondegat Self-Catering Cottages offers spacious accommodation with airy interiors and magnificent, rejuvenating views of the Clanwilliam Dam, surrounding mountains, and citrus orchards. It provides an experience that is enjoyable for the entire family. Guests can engage in various activities such as boating, 4x4 driving, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, and birdwatching in the orchards or along the pristine Rondegat mountain stream.

The cottages have a minimum stay requirement of two days over weekends, three days over long weekends, and five to seven days during the December holiday period. A key deposit is payable upon arrival, with R400 for two-bedroom units and R500 for three-bedroom units. Please note that credit cards are not accepted, and balance payments must be made via EFT two days prior to arrival or in cash upon arrival.

Rondegat provides bedding but does not supply towels. Not all units have indoor fireplaces. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere is an integral part of the Rondegat experience, and as such, groups, parties, or noise are not permitted. The use of canoes and boat launching is subject to the dam level, which should be inquired about in late summer. There is no WiFi available at the units.

Check-in times are from 14:30 to 20:00 on weekdays, and from 14:30 to 18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The five-sleeper unit has one extra single bed in the lounge, best suited for a child, while the six-sleeper unit has two extra beds in the lounge, suitable for children but not recommended for elderly persons. Both units can accommodate four adults and one or two children under 12 years of age.

All units are equipped with a kitchen, lounge, patio, and an outside braai area with a grid. The base tariff of R850 applies to two persons, with additional charges for more occupants according to the tariff list.
