Roodenburg House, a historic building constructed in 1882 following the Arts and Crafts architectural style prevalent in Victorian England and its colonies, is situated in the heart of the leafy Rondebosch suburb, beneath the shadow of Table Mountain. Originally named after the original allotment at this site granted to one of Jan Van Riebeek's "free burgers", the house now accommodates guests in its five beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with a flat-screen TV, ADSL, air conditioning, personal safes, refreshment trays, and crisp percale linen.

The property features a gym with views of the nearby park, a pool area with a landscaped garden, and secure gated parking for guests. Roodenburg House benefits from a central location, conveniently situated near major tourist attractions, the University of Cape Town, Bishops, and Rondebosch Boys, and is an eight-minute walk from the Newlands rugby and cricket grounds. Cape Town International Airport and the central business district are only a 15-minute drive away.

One of the upstairs rooms features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower, overlooking the front garden.
