Rose Cottages is a charming retreat situated on a tranquil wine farm in the picturesque Franschhoek valley of South Africa. The property features three self-catering cottages, each thoughtfully restored and equipped with modern amenities while maintaining their historic character.
The accommodations include The Stables, The Vineyard, and The Barn. The Stables, a converted stable building, accommodates four guests in two en-suite bedrooms, featuring a queen bed and twin beds. This hideaway includes its own private pool and deck. The Vineyard offers two-story living space for up to five guests, with a downstairs queen bedroom plus single bed, and twin beds on the mezzanine level, both with en-suite facilities. The Barn, part of the owners' residence and available on limited occasions, is an almost 200-year-old converted structure that sleeps two guests in a queen-size bedroom on a mezzanine level, featuring a sun room with vineyard and mountain views.
Each cottage comes fully equipped with a lounge, dining room, and kitchen, enhanced by amenities such as DSTV and braai (BBQ) facilities. A distinctive feature of each accommodation is its private rim-flow pool and spacious patio for outdoor living. Daily servicing is provided for all cottages. The Barn, being part of the main residence, maintains an adults-only policy.
The property is nestled among vineyards and olive trees on the outskirts of Franschhoek village, offering guests an authentic wine country experience with stunning natural surroundings.
