Rosie's Villa, 2 Glen Drive, Zinkwazi Beach

Rosie's Villa is a modern, upmarket holiday home located at 2 Glen Drive, Zinkwazi Beach. It offers magnificent sea views and is in great condition with plenty of space. The property features a netted pool, secure premises, and is within walking distance to the beach. It is a serviced property that provides DSTV and Wi-Fi, making it an ideal holiday home to return to every year.

The beautiful netted pool overlooks the ocean, and the deck offers ample space for sunbathing or relaxation. Evenings can be spent around the braai facility of choice or the fire pit with seating. The property features a large L-shaped covered veranda, perfect for al-fresco dining or simply lounging in the shade. There is a large lawn area for children to play. The house also offers access to the lower level for wheelchairs and has one en-suite bedroom with a wheelchair-friendly bathroom.

Beach access is available via a set of stairs between Nkwazi and Glen Drive, leading directly to the main beach entrance. Alternatively, guests can take a scenic stroll down Nkwazi Drive, or park at the main beach for early birds.

The house is equipped with a solar inverter for basic support and backup water tanks. It is secured by electric fencing, gates, an alarm system, and beams, and serviced by an armed response reaction. The property is serviced daily by on-site staff, and there are two lockup garages with ample space within the gates for additional cars.

Downstairs, the house features a lounge, dining room, pool room, kitchen, scullery, bar, guest toilet, a large spacious undercover veranda with furniture, a netted pool, and a large deck. There is one en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed, which is wheelchair-friendly. Braai facilities, both gas and charcoal, are available. The fully-equipped kitchen includes an eye-level oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and all necessary crockery and cutlery. There is a separate scullery and laundry area.

Upstairs, catering exclusively for family holidays, the house sleeps 13 people. All bedrooms have built-in cupboards, ceiling fans, and all linens, towels, and beach towels are provided. There are five bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. Two bedrooms are en-suite, and the other two share a family bathroom. The first bedroom has a king-size bed with a full en-suite bathroom, a private balcony, and beautiful views. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The third and fourth bedrooms each have two single beds, with the fourth bedroom featuring a small private balcony. The fifth bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed, a private balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, basin, and shower.

There is one small dog living on-site, cared for by the housekeeper, but it can be housed elsewhere should guests prefer or wish to bring their own pets. Please note that this must be arranged well in advance and with the owner's approval.

The property regrets that no groups of adults are allowed, as it caters exclusively for "nucleus" family holidays. No functions of any kind are permitted.

Additional charges include a daily staff levy of R250 for two staff members and a refundable breakage deposit of 10% of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500.

During peak season (December and January), specific booking requirements apply. For bookings including both Christmas and New Year, the minimum stay is 14 nights. For bookings including only Christmas, the minimum stay is 10 nights, ending no later than December 27th or 28th. For bookings including only New Year, the minimum stay is 10 nights, starting no earlier than December 27th or 28th. Shorter stays before and after this period (minimum of 5-7 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
