Rus In De Rust

Rus In De Rust is a beautiful heritage house from the 1920s that has been lovingly restored and furnished, offering spacious accommodation for up to six guests. The main house sleeps four guests, and there is a separate self-contained studio that sleeps two guests. The main house comprises two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has two 3/4 single beds.

The self-contained studio has a double bed, an en-suite shower and toilet, and a small kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The main house has an open-plan layout with a lounge and dining room leading through to the kitchen, which is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee and tea-making facilities, crockery, and cutlery. There is a separate lounge with a Smart TV that offers Netflix streaming.

Both bedrooms and the living room open onto a wraparound verandah where guests can sit and enjoy stunning views of the town and mountains. There is an indoor braai (barbecue) in the kitchen as well as an outdoor braai for guests to enjoy. A "plaasdam swembad" (farm dam swimming pool) complements the house, allowing guests to cool down during hot Karoo summer days. Rus In De Rust offers safe accommodation within easy reach of the main road with its restaurants and coffee shops, while also providing the tranquility and country feel one would expect from a quaint country village.

Bike rental is available, and the property is pet-friendly, so guests' furry friends are welcome to join them on their adventure. The "Casita" Studio is located on a beautiful property surrounded by a lovely garden. The room has a double bed, an en-suite shower and toilet, as well as a small kitchenette. Communal BBQ and plunge pool facilities are available for guests.
