Sacred Ibis is a self-catering accommodation situated on the banks of the Vaal River, just outside Sasolburg. It is a secure thatched lodge that can accommodate up to 16 guests. The house consists of four double bedrooms, five bathrooms, three of which are en-suite, a loft area with four single beds, a kids loft room with four single beds and a camp cot, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and two lounge areas. Guests can bring their own decoder and smart card for DStv access, and a washing machine is available on the ground floor.
The property features a sunny patio area with drop-down sides to enclose it, leading onto a lush garden and swimming pool. A wooden deck offers beautiful views of the river, with braai facilities and seating provided. The house is located just 25 metres from the river, with a boathouse and a jetty. Secure parking is available underneath the house. Sacred Ibis is one of four private houses situated on a 6-acre plot, with a large communal area featuring a dam at the rear of the houses, providing ample space for playing and walking.
