Sakrivierspoort Guest Farm

Sakrivierspoort Guest Farm is a place where visitors can experience the beauty of the Nuveld mountain and enjoy a true farm holiday. The farmhouse is fully equipped with four rooms: three en-suite and one extra room with a separate bathroom, accommodating up to ten people. It features a large outdoor stoep, an indoor braai area and fireplace, a living area with a pool table, and DSTV if desired.

The farm offers breath-taking night skies, vast plains, and open spaces, with no cell phone reception, providing a peaceful escape from the busy city life. Animal lovers and nature enthusiasts will have a delightful experience, with opportunities to milk cows, collect freshly laid eggs, feed lambs, and potentially witness the birth of a baby lamb. Visitors can also order freshly baked farm bread.

Martin and Marianne Scholtz, the hosts, go the extra mile to ensure guests feel at home and experience genuine Karoo hospitality. The farm is part of the River Rhine Rabbit Conservancy, offering the potential to spot the rare River Rhine rabbit, one of the most endangered species in South Africa. Additionally, there are opportunities for hiking, horse riding, swimming, hunting, mountain biking, bird watching, and 4x4 routes. The farm is home to various wildlife, including springbucks, kudus, blue wildebeest, and oryx.
