Salt River Lodge

Salt River Lodge is situated in a highly tranquil location on the northern side of the lagoon. It consists of 4 Cottages, with 2 bathrooms each. Two of the Cottages are on the ground level, and the remaining two are on the upper level. This arrangement ensures that the environment is not overcrowded.

Each Cottage can accommodate four to six people. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything necessary for self-catering, including a stove, an oven, a microwave oven, a full-size refrigerator with freezer, and braai facilities. Additionally, FREE Wi-Fi is provided. All linens are supplied, and each flat has two TVs with DStv. The Cottages can be fully serviced upon request.

For the convenience of guests, there is a swimming pool, canoes, and a pool table available. The lodge is part of a natural bird sanctuary, and species such as the Knysna Loerie, the Heron, and Egyptian Geese often visit for a drink from the swimming pool. A backup system has been implemented to keep the lights, TV, and Wi-Fi operational during loadshedding times.

The accommodation features include one Double Bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom, as well as a double sleeper couch in the living room. There is one bathroom, with one wheel-chair friendly shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are two TVs with DStv and Free Wi-Fi available on the ground floor.
