Although the village enjoys a secluded position located behind Table Mountain and between the mountain ranges and the Atlantic Ocean, it is still within easy reach of the city and highways, close to the Constantia wine estates, and within easy access to the highways leading to the wine estates of Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschoek. Along the coast, there is the bustling Camps Bay, followed by Table Mountain, with the next stop being the popular V&A Waterfront.
