Sandown Game And Gecko Lodge

Sandown Game And Gecko Lodge is a game farm spanning 2070 hectares of pristine and unspoilt Mopani bushveld, located approximately 500 kilometers north of Johannesburg, between Alldays and Musina. The game farm is home to various animal species, including giraffes, warthogs, and kudus, among others. It also features a diverse range of tree species and abundant bird life.

The lodge offers comfortable accommodation in six large en-suite rooms and a spacious farmhouse that can accommodate up to 16 guests. All rooms are fully air-conditioned. The facilities include a cozy restaurant with bar facilities, an entertainment area equipped with a pool table and a fireplace, a lovely swimming pool with a Jacuzzi surrounded by a beautiful garden and seating areas, and numerous braai facilities with lapa areas.

Guests can engage in various activities on the farm, such as bush walks, quad biking, clay-target shooting, game drives, as well as rifle- and bow hunting. For hunting parties, the lodge provides a large refrigeration facility, a butchery, and a biltong room.

The guest rooms are spacious and furnished with king-size beds and full en-suite bathrooms. They are equipped with air-conditioning and walk-in cupboards, and feature lovely patio areas that overlook the drinking hole, allowing for night-time game viewing. Parties of one or two guests can request catering, which the manager may consider.
