The Sangwana 27 is a well-appointed self-catering cottage located in the beautiful village of Underberg. It offers gorgeous views of the Sangwana mountain and the rolling farmlands of the valley below, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The central location serves as an ideal base to explore the many attractions of the Southern Drakensberg or provides easy access if one is taking part in various sporting events hosted in and around Underberg and Himeville.

The cottage features a stunning kitchen with a granite center island, leading into the lounge and dining area, and onto the veranda. Guests can enjoy sundowners on the verandah or take in the spectacular views while braaiing in the beautifully landscaped garden. A central fireplace ensures cozy and warm nights beside the crackling fireside, and visitors may even experience snow during their stay.

Sangwana 27 is fenced and secure, offering double shaded parking and space to leave a trailer. There is a jungle gym and swing set, along with a variety of toys, books, and games available to keep children busy. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with quality cotton linen and fluffy warm duvets, and bath towels are provided. The cottage can be serviced daily by prior arrangement.

Facilities include secure property with perimeter fencing, lockable driveway gate, burglar bars, entrance security gates, security lights, and an alarm system. There are double shaded parking bays and an area to leave a trailer. The large garden provides ample space for children to play, and a basic jungle gym is at their disposal. An outdoor braai area with seating, a Weber grill, and an outdoor table and chairs (seating for 8) on the verandah are available. A freestanding Jetmaster fireplace in the lounge comes with a complimentary crate of firewood upon arrival (additional firewood can be purchased). A gas heater in the lounge is available, but guests must bring their own 9kg gas cylinder. Other amenities include a flatscreen TV, DSTV, a DVD/CD player, a selection of books and magazines, air conditioning in the queen en-suite room, wall-mounted heaters in other rooms, electric blankets on all beds, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a separate bar fridge for beverages.
