Schoon Huis Manor is a beautiful stone house that was built over the course of fourteen years by a single stone mason. The attention to detail, time, effort, and love that went into its construction is evident upon arrival. The manor was the dream of Jenny Schoon, the wife and mother of the house.

The manor offers a relaxing stay with comfortable beds and high-quality food. Guests may even encounter a chicken visiting their room, as one bridal couple has attested. Visitors are welcomed as strangers but leave as friends.

The manor features luxurious rooms ideal for a romantic getaway, including a Honeymoon Suite. It also has a wedding venue and chapel that can accommodate up to 100 guests. One of the rooms, The Dany, features a Super King-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, decorated in relaxing hues of blue and cream, and an open, spacious bathroom with a Victorian bath and shower.

Schoon Huis Manor is family-friendly, with a pool, kids' play area, and ample space for children to play and ride bikes. Nearby attractions include various restaurants, Emperor's Palace, Eastgate Mall, East Rand Mall, and Bedford Center.
