Scottys On Southy is a guest house situated in the leafy suburb of Farrarmere, Benoni on the East Rand. It is located approximately seven kilometres away from Oliver Tambo International Airport. The establishment is a double-story dwelling, comprising eight bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower and underfloor heating.

Additional features of the guest house include DStv, a vanity chest, a range of international socket outlets, and a tea and coffee station in each room. The bathrooms are electronically controlled, and the rooms are thermally secured with non-toxic isotherm ceiling insulation throughout. Guests can enjoy a continental or English breakfast in the spacious dining room, which has a heated tiled surface, air conditioning, DStv, and a WiFi Internet Hotspot.

All drinking water at the guest house is filtered and processed through a reverse osmosis purifier. The main dwelling is a smoke-free zone, and eating in the bedrooms is not permitted for health and safety reasons. The dining room is equipped with a microwave oven, a toaster, a kettle, and cutlery to accommodate guests' dining needs.

Secure parking is available on the premises in accordance with municipal bylaws. Access to the main vehicle entrance and the main building is controlled by a ten-digit keypad. The environmentally friendly complex is serviced by two 300-litre Solarhart Solar geysers located on the roof of the first floor, providing good water pressure to all water outlets. All three bedrooms consist of three single beds and an en-suite bathroom, with the option of making two single beds into a double bed.
