Sea Forever

Sea Forever is a spacious and stylish apartment designed to bathe the occupants in natural sunlight. It offers a 180-degree view of False Bay. The apartment features a small carbon footprint, utilizing solar-heated hot water and solar electric power, eliminating the need for load shedding. Recycling and composting are encouraged but remain the choice of the guests. It can accommodate up to four guests.

Sea Forever features a large open-plan living room and dining area. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed that can accommodate two guests. It also includes satellite television and a DVD player, with Wi-Fi available throughout the apartment. Leading from the sitting room is a sheltered deck that overlooks the sea and the garden. A spiral staircase leads directly to the garden, barbeque area, and a 10-meter solar-heated pool, which is available during the swimming season from November to April. Recently, a hot tub/jacuzzi has been added to the water features, with an extra charge of R450 for its use.

The well-equipped kitchen features a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Guests are welcome to use the laundry facilities downstairs, or a laundry service can be arranged upon request. The bathroom features a large shower with a seat and a sea view, rather than a bathtub. The bedroom offers the choice of a king-sized or twin beds, ensuring a peaceful sleep in the quiet neighborhood.

Fisherman's Beach, visible from the apartment, is a short walk away and offers safe swimming and lovely rock pools. The area is rich in wildlife, with the possibility of spotting porcupines, mongooses, and various bird species. However, baboons also frequent the neighborhood, posing a potential nuisance but no danger. Guests will be instructed on how to avoid attracting baboons with food and prevent them from accessing the house, as appropriate security measures have been implemented on windows and doors.

For families with babies, a travel cot, high chair, and safety gate are provided. Older children can enjoy the climbing frame and trampoline, as well as the large solar-heated swimming pool. The apartment overlooks Fisherman's Beach in False Bay and is within walking distance of several other lovely beaches, including the famous Boulders Beach with its penguin colony.
