Sea Glass is a welcoming self-catering guest house situated in Freeland Park, a popular suburb of Scottburgh, just minutes away from a host of popular coastal activities. The property was built specifically for family holidays and provides a convenient and comfortable base to enjoy the many adventures and activities the area has to offer, such as deep-sea fishing, shipwreck diving, exploring the famous Aliwal Shoal, surfing, and sunning oneself on the glorious sandy beaches nearby.

The unique open-plan design of the house, making use of the sloping sea-facing plot, leads to a multi-functional and light-filled space with a natural flow, allowing family and friends to convene and converse with ease, while the practical layout still affords privacy when needed. The house offers an expansive atmosphere, high ceilings, spacious rooms, and wide-open balconies, as well as spectacular uninterrupted views of Scottburgh's main beach, which is only a few minutes' walk away. A wonderful refreshing sea breeze naturally channeled up through the lush tropical valley in front of the property ensures a sought-after "holiday feeling".

The open-plan kitchen has a modern mezzanine design with beautiful granite counter tops and is fully equipped for self-catering. It features a hob, under-counter oven, microwave, dishwasher, combination fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble-dryer for convenience. The large open-plan lounge and dining area have an open, high beamed ceiling and expansive folding windows and a French door to accommodate the sub-tropical climate. The lounge area, furnished with comfortable sofas, overlooks the garden and has an uninterrupted view of Scottburgh's main beach, just 500 meters away. French doors lead out to a wide-open balcony, perfect for all-day family gatherings or lounging with a book. There is a TV and a DVD player for entertainment, and limited Wi-Fi is available. The dining area has a bar fridge, and the dining room table can comfortably seat eight guests.

The property has a sizeable garden area, great for playing or relaxing on the cool shaded lower veranda while enjoying a cocktail or cooling down in the private splash pool. As the property was designed for family holidays, there is parking available for at least three cars, safe within the premises and secured by an electric gate and palisade fence. Internal and external alarm sensors are installed for peace of mind, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their vacation.

The open-plan living, a small plunge pool with a net and cover, and a large garden ensure a child-friendly environment. The house has lovely views of Scottburgh's main beach and is just a short walk away, with access through the bottom of the property and under the bridge (children are not recommended to walk to the beach unattended).

The main bedroom, situated on the lower ground floor, has dark wooden furniture complemented by crisp white cotton linen dressing the queen-size bed, built-in cupboards, a ceiling fan, and lovely original artworks on the walls. The en-suite bathroom is extra spacious and has a free-standing bath, his and hers basins, and a stunning, large double shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with crisp white cotton linen, built-in cupboards, a small dressing table, and a ceiling fan. This room has access to the lower veranda, where guests can enjoy Scottburgh's beautiful sunrises or take a dip in the splash pool after a hot day at the beach. On this level, there is a separate family bathroom with a shower, his and hers basins, and a toilet, conveniently located next to the second bedroom.

The third bedroom option is located above the living area in an open-plan loft arrangement. This sleeping loft offers a queen-size bed with fresh white cotton linen, ample storage for clothing, and a large picture window overlooking the garden. The room also has a ceiling fan, and spare mattresses are available for children. The loft serves as a great teen pad, play area, or an ideal third bedroom for an extra couple with younger children. A guest toilet is conveniently located in the living area just below the loft. Additionally, there is a futon in the living area as an extra sleeping option if required.
