Sea Otters Lodge

Sea Otters Lodge offers an escape from the busy city life, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful and serene surroundings. It is a unique establishment located in a beautiful, tranquil setting, providing an idyllic location for social gatherings such as get-togethers, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and other special events.

The lodge features sea and beachfront accommodation with sea-facing en-suite bedrooms that offer panoramic ocean views. Guests have direct access to the beach and can take advantage of the onsite Weber braai facilities, free Wi-Fi, and secure parking behind a remote-controlled gate. Exclusive use of guest lounges, dining areas, and other amenities is available.

All bedrooms are sanitized with C-19 Room Guard before guest arrivals and after departures. The rooms are well-appointed with en-suite bathrooms, LED televisions with DStv Stay Essential Package, heating, coffee tables with armchairs, guest bathroom amenities, dressing tables with chairs, ample wardrobe space, international plug points, heating in the en-suite, private entrances, emergency lights, ceiling fans, and safes. Hairdryers are available upon request.

The staff works intermittent hours, and guests are required to make prior arrangements for braai facilities. For weekends, bookings must be made before 12 pm on Friday, while for weekdays, arrangements should be made at least a day in advance. Late requests cannot be accommodated. Each floor level features a kitchenette equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, and prep bowl for guest use.

Accommodation is booked per person per night, with a maximum of two adults per room. An additional single sleeper couch is available for one child under 13 years old at an additional cost, subject to availability. Children under three years old are not allowed in rooms situated on the first floor level. Guests can pre-book a served English breakfast consisting of cereal, a cooked breakfast, coffee or tea, toast, and a glass of fruit juice at least one day in advance.

The lodge offers a function/wedding/party venue with a maximum capacity of 48 persons and conference facilities for up to 28 persons per event, providing various delectable buffet packages and menus to choose from. Guests can explore the surrounding area through hiking or horse riding, and walk directly from the lodge onto the beach to experience peace and tranquility. Various restaurants, a Spar, and a pub are located within a 3 km radius.

Sea Otters Lodge has a strict policy regarding visitors of guests. Day visitors are not allowed, and guests are not permitted to invite family, friends, or acquaintances for visits or braais. The onsite facilities are for the exclusive enjoyment of registered guests and the owners.
