Sea-Spray Margate

Sea-spray offers accommodation in six cottages, each with a different design, located just two streets away from Margate beach. The establishment does not provide towels, toiletries, or cleaning materials. Some cottages are equipped with FREE WI-FI and DStv capability, but guests are required to bring their own decoder, smart card, cables, and remote. All cottages feature private braai areas, and guests have access to the swimming pool on site.

Sea-spray is situated close to Margate beach and offers sea views. It provides 24-hour security response. The rates during the off-season period range from R250 per person per night, with a minimum stay of two nights. For a single night stay, the rate is R500 per person. During school holidays, the minimum stay is three nights, and in December, the minimum stay is also three nights. Rates are subject to change without notice.

A breakage/miscellaneous deposit of R500 is required for small cottages, while the breakage deposit for the large 6-sleeper cottage is R1000, payable in cash upon arrival. Additionally, a booking fee of 10% must be paid in cash upon arrival. Mini buses are required to pay a one-time parking fee of R500. Laundry services are available at R100 per load, and the dryer fee is R100 per load. Trailer parking incurs a one-time fee of R200. On the last day, a cleaning and laundry fee of R500 will be deducted from the deposit.

Sea-spray caters exclusively to residents. Nearby activities and attractions include Oribi Gorge, Crocodile Farm, Wild Coast Casino, golf, art galleries, cultural tours, Banana Express, deep-sea angling, cruises, the bird park, flea markets, hikes, horse riding, a children's pool, cinemas, and a coffee farm. The establishment offers self-catering chalets/cottages with free WiFi, but no downloading is allowed. There is an open-view TV with DStv cable, but guests must bring their own decoder and card.

The self-catering chalets/cottages at Sea-spray are located within walking distance from Margate's Blue Flag main beach, approximately 400 meters away, at 46 Hibiscus Avenue, Margate. One of the units can accommodate up to 10 guests, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. The rooms are furnished with double and single beds, and two double sleeper couches are available. The unit includes a lounge, a family room, and is situated close to the pool. DStv is available, but guests need to bring their own decoder and smart card.
