Sedgefield Lodge is situated within a secure private estate in Emalahleni, positioned on the banks of the Witbank Dam. The estate hosts diverse wildlife, including various species of buck, zebras, and wildebeest, offering guests an authentic African wildlife experience alongside waterfront views.

The accommodation consists of two distinct units. The first is a two-bedroom unit accommodating four adults, featuring a king-size bed in the master bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom, with additional child-friendly sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower facilities, while a shared bathroom serves both bedrooms. A kitchenette adjoins the bedroom, equipped with essential cooking appliances and a breakfast counter.

The second unit, known as The Boathouse, can accommodate six adults and two children. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, dual lounge areas, a dining space, and a fully-fitted kitchen. One lounge area includes a sofa bed with water views, while the second provides comfortable seating and television entertainment. The dining area and kitchen are well-appointed with modern appliances and ample seating.

Both units offer outdoor entertainment areas with built-in barbecue facilities and generous seating arrangements. The property provides direct water access, making it ideal for fishing enthusiasts seeking carp, perch, and sharp-toothed catfish. The dam's low traffic volume makes it perfect for water sports activities. Additionally, guests can explore the estate's cycling and walking trails, enjoying the abundant local birdlife and natural surroundings.
