The Sendelingsdrif Rest Camp is located in the Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Park, a transfrontier park jointly managed by the Nama people and the South African National Parks. The park is situated on the South African side of the border and is characterized by rugged kloofs, high mountains, and dramatic landscapes that sweep inland from the Orange River.

The area is a vast mountain desert where water is scarce, and life-sustaining moisture comes in the form of early morning fog, called "Ihuries" or "malmokkies" by the local people. This fog rolls in from the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean, sustaining a remarkable range of small reptiles, birds, and mammals. The park features a staggering assortment of plant life, some species occurring nowhere else, including gnarled quiver trees, tall aloes, and quaint "half-mens" that stand guard over this inscrutable landscape.

The Sendelingsdrif Rest Camp offers a campsite (CK6) with the following features: one communal bathroom with a toilet and bath, accommodation for up to two vehicles per site (additional vehicles will be charged a fee per night), access through Sendelingsdrif, an emergency camp, a late arrival campsite, and no power points. Visitors must supply their own camping equipment and tents.

It is important to note that the rates displayed are the base rates for one or two adults. Additional charges will apply for additional adults and children. The rates exclude the compulsory SANP community levy, which will be included in the quote. SANParks daily conservation fees are not included and are payable upon arrival at the camp.
