Sensayuma Backpackers

Sensayuma Backpackers is a luxury backpacker accommodation located at the Tugela Mouth along the KwaZulu-Natal coast. It offers spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms, with all rooms and dormitories having en-suite bathrooms equipped with hot water, high-pressure showers, and fans for cooling.

The establishment features a large open-plan communal area comprising a kitchen, lounge, dining area, library room, bar area, braai areas, various decks, and a sizable garden with two pools. Additionally, there is a separate hot water ablution facility and outdoor kitchen available for campers at the campsites.

Visitors can participate in various activities in the area, including Zulu cultural tours, beach and forest hikes and walks, swimming, surfing, quad bike tours, wakeboarding, river rafting, ocean kayaking, fishing, and bird watching.

Sensayuma Backpackers offers 8 campsites situated by the pool. All campsites are located on flat, comfortable grass areas with ample shade provided by the luxuriant garden. Power outlets and taps are available, and there are hot water showers, toilets, and an outdoor kitchen facility for campers.
