Serengeti

Serengeti is a unit located on a 140-hectare farm, approximately 5 kilometers outside of Dullstroom. It is surrounded by glass windows, allowing guests to feel a part of the natural surroundings, which include a blue gum forest, a crocodile river, and three dams filled with trout. The unit offers spectacular views and a serene environment of silence and solitude.

The beautiful Serengeti unit is divided into two almost identical bedrooms, which can accommodate up to eight people when combined. Each bedroom is en-suite, with one room featuring a shower, toilet, and washbasin, while the other has a bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. Both bedrooms have loft areas, with two three-quarter beds in the main room and two single beds in the loft. All beds are fitted with 100-percent Egyptian cotton linen and electric blankets.

The well-equipped kitchen has the necessary appliances for cooking meals, including a fridge-freezer, stove, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge area offers comfortable sofas for relaxation and a fireplace. Adjacent to the lounge is the dining room, which has a built-in gas braai facility. Firewood is provided free of charge, and the unit is serviced once a day by friendly staff.

Serengeti is pet-friendly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join family getaways upon request. The unit is located 800 meters from three rainbow and brown trout dams, making it an ideal destination for fly-fishing enthusiasts. It is also situated 7 kilometers from The Highlands Gate golf course.

Serengeti is suitable for couples seeking a romantic getaway, offering an intimate setting and breathtaking views. It can accommodate two couples, four singles, or one couple with children. Pets are welcome upon request and with prior discussion with the management during the booking process.
