The home, referred to as 'Serenity By The Sea', is a beautiful and practical residence. It is airy and light inside, with a modern appearance but a homely and comfortable atmosphere. The house is well-protected from the South Easter wind, allowing for outdoor barbecues (braais) regardless of the weather. It features a built-in outdoor braai, a gas braai, and a Weber grill.

The 598 sq.m house is spacious and modern, yet warm and inviting. It is kept spotlessly clean, with high-quality furniture and fittings throughout. The house is fully air-conditioned and offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. It is conveniently located, with Cape Town central just a 10-minute drive away.

Visitors have access to all areas of the home. A permanent housekeeper is included, who cleans the house, does laundry, and irons daily from Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) and on Saturdays (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM). The housekeeper does not work on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. Additional charges may apply for after-hours work. The housekeeper's responsibilities do not include cooking or grocery shopping for guests.

As the house is located in an upscale residential area, guests are requested to keep noise levels to a minimum after 12:00 PM, out of consideration for the neighbors. House rules prohibit smoking, pets, parties, or events without prior permission. The house is not considered child-safe, as it does not have a pool net or stair gates. Adult supervision is required. Guests must also acknowledge the presence of two flights of stairs in the house.
