Shabby Chic Beach House

The 'Shabby Chic Beach House' offers two self-catering units in one house located in Dwarskersbos, a short walk away from the beach. During the Easter and December Festive Season, guests cannot book only one unit; both units must be booked together for a single group of guests. The double-storey house provides guests with the choice between the 'Shabby' unit, which sleeps four, or the 'Chic' unit, which sleeps six. The units can be booked separately or as a whole, as they are connected by a corridor and door on the top floor.

The 'Shabby' unit has two bedrooms and a dormitory area, with two shared bathrooms. The 'Chic' unit features three bedrooms, two of which, along with one of the two bathrooms, are located on the upper floor. Bedding is provided, but guests are required to bring their own towels. Each unit has an open-plan kitchen and a braai area on the ground floor. The kitchens are equipped with a microwave, stove, and refrigerator. Both units also have a lounge area with a TV with DStv access, and Wi-Fi is available.

The house features a communal deck with braai facilities and ocean views, and each unit has separate access to the deck. Guests are required to bring their own braai wood. An outside hot and cold shower is available. Parking for one vehicle per unit is available in a lock-up garage, and there is an alarm system in the house. Additional parking for extra vehicles is available next to the house.

The safe long beach can be enjoyed by holidaymakers, and there are many restaurants and other activities nearby, such as boat trips, Rocherpan, and fishing. Guests are welcome to ask for suggestions and ideas on what to do in the area. Dwarskersbos has a long sandy beach with safe swimming conditions and even a fun beach break on high tide for surfing or bodyboarding. Long walks can be enjoyed during low tide, and fishing is a popular activity in the area, which is known for its beautiful sunsets.
