Shafton Grange

Shafton Grange is a guest house and Lipizzaner Stud located on a 52-hectare farm surrounded by park-like gardens. The house was built in 1852. It offers a unique experience for guests seeking a refreshing change from everyday life.

The guest house features five en-suite double bedrooms, each individually appointed with amenities expected from high-class country living. There is a large lounge with the original 1852 fireplace, providing warmth and a cozy escape for relaxation with a book or a glass of wine. A spacious veranda opens from the lounge onto pristine lawns overlooking the swimming pool and lush kikuyu paddocks. The reception rooms are furnished with local antiques and family heirlooms.

Meals are prepared by an experienced cook using local ingredients. Dinner and lunch are offered, but the breakfast is particularly notable at Shafton Grange. The rooms are named after Lipizzaner lines and individually decorated in keeping with the du00e9cor and style of the house. Two rooms are situated in the Victorian Courtyard, while four rooms are located upstairs in the main house. All rooms are en-suite and equipped with either a king-size bed or two single beds. A fully equipped kitchen with a tea and coffee station is available.
