Shakawe River Lodge

Shakawe River Lodge is strategically positioned 20km from the Namibian border and 380km from Maun, serving as an excellent stopover for self-driving visitors. The beautifully renovated establishment overlooks the Okavango River, a crucial water system in the Panhandle region.

The lodge features ten spacious, air-conditioned suites, each offering a king-sized bed, private deck, satellite television, and a stocked mini-bar. A special honeymoon suite provides additional privacy and luxury amenities, including an outdoor shower, extended private deck, and day bed. The property also accommodates camping enthusiasts with ten campsites, each capable of hosting up to three tents.
