Shalamanzi Lodge

Shalamanzi Lodge is a self-catering accommodation facility situated at the foot of the Magalies Mountains, in a safe park-like environment. The lodge offers spacious and neat accommodation units at an affordable rate. The area is known for its abundant bird life, and visitors can also observe vervet monkeys, bush babies, and squirrels in the surroundings.

The facility comprises five rooms, each with a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, and a small kitchen area equipped with coffee and tea facilities, microwaves, bar fridges, toasters, kettles, fan heaters or fans, TVs with M-Net and standard SABC channels, linen, towels, and suitable cutlery and crockery. A large barbecue area is available for guests to use.

The rooms are as follows: Room 1 is a double room with a king-size bed and a corner bath with an overhead shower. Room 2 is a double room with a king-size bed and an extra single bed, along with a large shower. Room 4 is a double room with a corner bath and an overhead shower. Room 5 is a family room with a shower, a king-size bed, a double bed, and a single bed. Room 6 is a double room with an extra single bed, a bath, and a shower.

While Shalamanzi Lodge is a self-catering facility, guests can also visit various family or exclusive restaurants in close proximity. The lodge offers the comfort of private units to ensure an unforgettable stay at Hartbeespoort Dam, a popular destination for weekend getaways or day trips. The area offers numerous water sports and interesting outings, such as visiting the cable way, aquarium, private zoo and snake park, crocodile and cheese farms, or tasting citrus wines and aperitifs.
