Shamba Yetu Mountain Lodge

Shamba Yetu is a tranquil mountain retreat located between Magaliesburg and Rustenburg, just off the R24. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Magaliesburg Mountains, the property offers guests an ideal escape to appreciate wildlife, birdlife, and scenic vistas while connecting with nature.

The accommodation consists of two main self-catering units, Punda Melia Cottage and Sungura House, each accommodating four guests. Both units are private and separate, featuring their own splash pools, braai facilities, and fire pits. These units come fully equipped with modern amenities including flat-screen TVs with DSTV channels. A private chef service is available upon prior arrangement.

Both main units offer fully equipped kitchens with ovens, seating areas with sofas, and private bathrooms. Sungura House additionally features an outdoor shower. Standard amenities in both units include microwaves, toasters, and kettles.

The property also offers two luxury tents. Tent 1 is an open-plan unit for two guests, featuring a kitchenette and full bathroom facilities. Tent 2 is more spacious, accommodating four guests with two bedrooms and similar kitchen amenities.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the property provides caravan sites with individual braai facilities and power supply, shared ablution facilities, and a wash-up area. Additionally, there is a wild camping option on the "koppie" plateau, accessible only by 4x4 vehicles, offering a private bush experience for the adventurous camper, though without water and electricity amenities.
